The second Hanseatic India
Colloquium was held in Hamburg to show-case the progress
that India has made in the field of life sciences and to
provide a platform for an effective networking between India
and German/European companies with a focus on co-operation
in the field of pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and healthcare.
The response was excellent and the presentations by reputed
speakers at the Colloquium were highly appreciated by the

Dr. Mukhopadhyay joined Gateway
Knowledge Partners (www.gateway-kp.com)
as their Director of India Operations. In this position he will
be responsible for India desk of the organisation. |

Representative
of Hamburg for India: Dr. Mukhopadhyay is appointed as the Representative
for Hamburg in Life Sciences for India by
the Hamburg Business Development Corporation (HWF, www.hamburg-economy.de). In
this capacity he will be responsible for representing Hamburg in
India and will look after Indo-German business relationships specifically
in Life Sciences that will include biotechnology, bioinformatics,
clinical research, healthcare, pharmaceuticals and related areas. |

KatraSoft Europe GmbH:
Dr. Mukhopadhyay has been instrumental in setting up KatraSoft
Europe GmbH (www.katrasoft.com)
in Hamburg. This is a specialist company for software development
and services for healthcare, hospital management, agriculture and
contract farming. He is appointed as their Director, European operation. |
